River Bed or watercourse Land-Karnataka

Dear All,

Small clarification is required from you.

We are planning to construct small Hydro Electric Plant in Karnataka State, during the survey came to know that land belongs to both sides of the river is Forest Land.

In this case, "River Bed or watercourse Land" belongs to forest land or Revenue land.

Reuse options for the salt recovered from textile

Large qty of common salt being used in textile dyeing operations.While going for ZLD,The Salt are recovered through R.O.tHE Recovered salts are contatminated with other chemicals.Can any one suggest to free the salt from contamination so as to reuse.(1500-2000tons/day is generated )

Cadmium Metal Pollution

One tonne of zinc metal produced ..co-produces approximately 3 kg of Cadmium metal. Presently Vedanta Resources have approximately one million tonnes of zinc capacity per annum...which means they should have 3 million kgs of Cadmium metal production per annum...but they don't have it..!!!!   Now a big question arises..where does that quantity of cadmium metal bearing materials is being...disposed/dumped...
