Reuse options for the salt recovered from textile

Large qty of common salt being used in textile dyeing operations.While going for ZLD,The Salt are recovered through R.O.tHE Recovered salts are contatminated with other chemicals.Can any one suggest to free the salt from contamination so as to reuse.(1500-2000tons/day is generated )

Ganesan,

The RO reject needs to be made hardness free and decolorized for salt to be recycled. Ozonation could be a good option at this stage. It is expensive byt when you are recycling salt back, it might be a good option for decolorization as well as organic impurity removals. Load on evaporator will reduce.

The constituents in the waste lye are buffering agents (alkaline) and organics derived from wasted dye. the organic part can be destructively oxidized with ozone/hydrogen peroxide/UV, and reused in the dying industry itself. The process can be done at ambient temperature, and leaves no treatment residue. Is it 1500-2000 Tons/day or Kgs/day?  Has the contamination toxic effect?  

If the salt is non-toxic, can it be reused for pH correction in acidic soil?
