For the first time in Rajasthan we hold a full 72 hour, 13 day Permaculture Design certification course from Dec 14 ~ 26 Dec at the Astha Training Center in Bedla, Bargaon, Udaipur. 

What is Permaculture Design

Permaculture is a comprehensive eco-social design system that draws from energy efficient appropriate tech, indigenous wisdom and site-specific observations to create homesteads, farms and all human habitats as fertile, diverse and resilient as natural eco-systems.

The Course Description

This course is tailored to local eco-social conditions and follows the standard curriculum prescribed by Permaculture Design founders Bill Mollison and David Holgrem. The 72 hour long course is broadly divided into five categories: 1) Permaculture Design ethics, principles & philosophy; 2) The cultivated ecology; 3) Designing productive ecosystems and landscapes; 4) Increasing resilience, sustainability & productivity in a given environment; & 5) Social Permaculture. The training includes theory, practicals, experiments, experiential learning and small group & individual presentations. We will back up the training with appropriate audio visual presentations, field visits and guest lectures. This course will be conducted in English by 3 PDC certified instructors and has a maximum limit of 20 participants selected on a first-come first-serve basis.
