Bio-fouling is natural phenomenon where immersed objects are colonized by the various biological organisms. Is there any eco-friendly method to control it.

By application on Advanced Nano Oxidation Process it is possible to immediately control and arrest bio fouling with out harming fishes and plants in ponds, lakes etc..it is effective and we have been doing this for quite some time in sewage and effluent treatment plants..for more information reach us at info@ozosciences.com

Try TRIOZON F....................... Citro Peroxy, Nano Peroxy.

This will:

Oxidize

Oxygenates

Anti fungus

Anti Algae

Virucide

Remove Bio-fouling

Removes Biofilm

Yes, there are methods to control the same. It depends upon each situation. Nature, in its benevolence has created many solutions. Just got to study and copy!!

you can use sanitizer

First step is to cover affected area with tarpolene or wooden sheet depend on area which do not allow to fall sunlight directly on or inside water area.
Second step is to be used non oxidising or eco friendly chemical which require less quantity of chemical due to first step applied.

Dear Dr Rao,

It is all about blocking or killing bios. Ecological acceptability of killing/blocking chemicals would be in doubt.

Of late persistent toxic compositions like Cu/As/Hg formulations have been replaced Sn-organics. Eco-friendliness of such formulations is only a trade off.

bio fouling is due to microorganisms. There are two broad ways to have a control.

1. use some chemicals(anti-biological stuff) to kill the microorganisms.

positives: quick and fast method, 100 % results can be achieved.

negatives: cannot be used for a larger area of application due to cost constrains, short term only, harmful to the environment.

2. use some good and beneficial microbes to replace the bad ones(bioagumentation).

positives: long term impact, cost effective, eco friendly approach

negatives: will take more time to show results, results can be achieved up to 80 to 95%
