Hi!

Have you tried Stream 1 and Stream 2?

These were developed by an IIT Prof. Dr. Modak for Ganga Project. These are simple, have nice menu driven inputs, and work well in XP environment. Stream 1 & 2 come with in built validation algorithm and context based help menu.

These software are available from Ekonnect website, else you could write to Dr. Prasad Modak (pmodak@vsnl.com).

You have asked in a generic manner. Be specific of your requirement, as Ms Puja Bose rightly mentioned. You may also take the help of softwares like GIS & Surfer for presenting your finding in a wider area, but, what is your requirement and what you want to project is more important...... All the best.

EPANET v 2.2 is a free software available online..to understand basic modelling

why do you think water modelling softwares would be for free..

you may download from torrentz or rapidshare...as per your needs...

if you know what and how to design / model water networks on paper..its similar..Moreover, every software comes with a HELP !! good luck.. plz specify your requirement before you ask for softwares... is it for hydrological design, flow modelling, network modeling or testing the process... i find AutoCAD is sufficient for civil /mechanical design of water treatment systems..
