National Research Conference on Climate Change-New Delhi March 5,6

As indicated in the attached announcement, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and CSE are jointly organising the first of what we hope to be a series of annual climate research conferences in India. We are hoping that this meeting in Delhi this March will draw a wide number of researchers in the country, both young and established, who work on a variety of topics associated with climate change, including the science, impacts, adaptation, mitigation, and policy. The idea is to build a climate research network within the country so that we can build on each other’s skills and knowledge, develop new research collaborations, enhance opportunities for younger researchers, and ultimately strengthen capacity in this area. Kindly share this announcement with colleagues as well as younger scholars and urge them to submit an abstract for consideration for a talk/poster. Please circulate this announcement to relevant individuals, groups, or institutions as you see fit.
