 t of what we hope to be a series of annual climate research conference
 s in India. We are hoping that this meeting in Delhi this March will d
 raw a wide number of researchers in the country, both young and establ
 ished, who work on a variety of topics associated with climate change,
  including the science, impacts, adaptation, mitigation, and policy. T
 he idea is to build a climate research network within the country so t
