Indsearch 7th Public Lecture Series: India's most sustainable companies: what makes them successful ? Perspectives of CII-ITC Sustainability Award Winners"

Indsearch (Indian Institute of Cost & Management Studies and Research), Pune, has been conducting a week long Public Awareness Lecture Series for the last seven years on a single topic related to environmental/sustainability Management. Eminent speakers from all over India speak on a single theme in the evening from say 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm enabling the public to attend these lectures; the series starts on a Monday and ends on a Saturday. These lectures are free to anyone willing to listen to those who share their experience in environmental and sustainability management. The purpose of these lectures is to bring subjects which are normally discussed in the business corporations to the public domain to strengthen the interface between the business and its stakeholders.

So far the following topics were covered in these PALS :

2004 - Environmental Accounting and Reporting
2005 - Environmental Laws and the Civil Society
2006 - Climate Change and Carbon Trade: Who really benefits ?
2007 - Sustainability and Business
2008 - BOP Models and Poverty Alleviation

This years Lecture series is organized in partnership with CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Management, New Delhi.

We take this opportunity to invite all those interested in listening to the Sustainability Practitioners from Award Winning Companies to attend this years PALS from 14 Dec to 19 December, 2009, at the Law College Auditorium, Law College Road, Erandavana, Pune - 4, between 6.30 and 8.00 pm on all days except Friday, 18 Dec, when the program starts at 6.00 pm
