DESCRIPTION:Indsearch (Indian Institute of Cost & Management Studies a
 nd Research), Pune, has been conducting a week long Public Awareness L
 ecture Series for the last seven years on a single topic related to en
 vironmental/sustainability Management. Eminent speakers from all over 
 India speak on a single theme in the evening from say 6.30 pm to 8.00 
 pm enabling the public to attend these lectures; the series starts on 
 a Monday and ends on a Saturday. These lectures are free to anyone wil
 ling to listen to those who share their experience in environmental an
 d sustainability management. The purpose of these lectures is to bring
  subjects which are normally discussed in the business corporations to
  the public domain to strengthen the interface between the business an
 d its stakeholders.\n\nSo far the following topics were covered in the
 se PALS :\n\n2003 - Environmental Management Systems\n2004 - Environme
 ntal Accounting and Reporting\n2005 - Environmental Laws and the Civil
  Society\n2006 - Climate Change and Carbon Trade: Who really benefits
