Dear All

Does any one have idea about how to calculate distance from the project location to carry out impact assessment.

In routine practice we are considering 10/15 km radius from the project location.Is there any methods to calculate this distance?

Is there any material for calculation methods as well Impact assessment methods.like matrix method etc.

Regards

Yes it Depends on type of Project and Pre Impact assessment of the Site;

Firstly collection of Secondary Data of the project Site,surrounding area identification  depending on Pre-Feasibility report like Map and other relevant details

For Air : Air Modelling and Dispersion of Pollutants collection of Air quality data from IMD dept.

For Water : Ex. depending on Map on study area coming Surface water(Sampling upstream Middle Stream and Down Stream) ,Ground Water with in Study area Representative Water Samples covering study area.

Soil Samples : same procedure

Noise : Same Procedure as per MOEF guidelines for all the parameters

for impact assesement there are many methods like network method,quantitative method,etc..which method you want to know.
