Immediate reaction in my mind is that Shri Nammazhwar

the rural agricultural reformisst should be the right person.

He can be contacted through the famous Tamil Magazines

group ANANDA VIKATAN, Chennai.

This is great Idea.

I also suggest Mr Nammalwar, an indigenous agricultural scientist (a lone crusader to save Nature and natural resources) from Tamilnadu.  Thanks Mr VK Raman for reminding us about the right person. We should recognize his services to our soil. His passion to protect our IPR and TK ought to be highlighted.

Please provide the email id. to which details are to be sent.

Hi ! I am interested in your mission for share of knoiwledge for saving environment and educating the next generation about this grave problems.I my view with time and with development of new technology we can curb this problem . Now in stead of talking it is needed to to invent more and more . To do more research so that the technology can reach down to earth. It is needed to make technology cheaper and it can be made only if our younger generatio come forward and devote more in real research work.Suppose we want to install effluent treatment plant in any Industry like Rice mill where BOD is much more but when we say enterpreneur to install it they say is very costly and also system is not full proof. There is always chance of leakages and discharge of effluent without treatment. So need is invention of such technology which can run in a easier way and which can directly linked to production means if there is any leakage or bye-pass production is stopped.Although we have lgislation to regulate and control industrial pollution but all have leakges because control measure are very costly and small industrialist cannot afford. So this requires more and discussion.

I have developed a product called 'BIOMAGIC' to treat waste water in

rice mills, sago industries, coffee processing units, sewage treatment plants,

etc.  'BIOMAGIC' stops bad odor instantly and turns biodegradable waste water

reusable in about 8 to 10 hours time, at affordable cost.  BIOMAGIC's induced

aerobic action replaces the need for mechanical aeration requiring lot of power,

repairs & maintenance cost. It costs only Rs.60/- to treat one tanker load of

10,000 Litres.  The treated water is fit for gardening, ground water recharging

or for letting into canals, rivers or lakes without the risk of odor or pollution.

However, even after demo. and proving the cost benefit,  I find response from

end users is not very encouraging.  People don't want to spend on treating

waste water & reusing.  Rather, they prefer to let out the untreated water into

the storm water drains which ultimately pollute the water bodies.  For more info.
