R.O PLANT SHIFTING THE POLLUTANTS FROM LIQUID STATUS TO LIQUID - SEME SOLID STATUS.iT CAN BE DISCHARGED ONLY IN TO SEA AFTER OBTAINING APPROVALS FROM VARIOUS AGENCIES(TOUGH TASK).suggested to evaporate and convert it to solid form and dispose as land fillable waste or Reuse

The cost of treatment will drastically increase if distillation is used to convert RO reject to solid form.

by distillation i mean evaporation/distillation

We have 150 meter cube RO plant treating 10500 mg/lit TDS. The best method to dispose RO reject is Multi Effect Evaporator

Disposal of 150 cum of R.O.Reject thro Evaoraton would be very costly affair.Better to further concentrate by one more stagew of R.O Process and reduce the reject quantity.Evaporator will eaten away all ur profits and again it is not 100% success technology operation wise,Economic analyssis need to be done and saeisfy before taking decisions
