Dear Hemal Bhai and Rakesh Bhai

If NABET is Not sustaining any more after April-May 2012, what will consultants do?

Means I am trying to clarify for myself.

I am accredited only for water pollution control and wanted to be accredited for EIA Coordinator.

but again if the program will not sustain more what I will have to do?

I cant work as as EIA expert or coordinator?

Please reply so that my ideas will get clear.

It not like being on road if NABET IS NOT SUSTAINING.
You are doctorate and even professional too. So its matter of being hardworker and systemaric planning to use of knowledge. Actually NABET system was looking great in very inception but from begining it attracted many issues. Perhaps I am the first who stated such issue on IEN. With the increasing age of it, it started becoming a scheme of thought of some people and they have violeted lot mnay legal provisions. Even there are lot of cases where they have gone beyond the clauses of their scheme document. Thus the scheme operator have now became GOD. They does what they like and thats shall not be tolerated. A highly equiped firm with good rather excelent track record of knowledge based good skilled jobs are rejected and a garbage firm are approved. Why? How? Is there anything like miracle? Yes it miracle done by the assessors and NABET AC. Well it big issue can't be discussed here.

Well not to worry soon one othe scheme will come which will be technically and legally fit seeking even more quality in EIA and surely rather compulsarily it will require high qualified and experienced professionals so people like you will have even more scope of bright n productive future. Well. This the only reason that suggested Rakeshbhai to avoid investing in NABET else he will have to waste the investment of nabet and will requiresome thing new with extra ton of coins.
You are working in a firm and he is running a business/firm. Thre is very huge gap between you and Rakeshbhai. So he has to lok and think of many thing beside employing people like you and me. I hope you understand. So dont worry just wait cor better time which will never end. But forget NABET.

I am also waiting for good time. I have total 13 years of experience in this sector. was worked in NEERI and Mott MacDonald Group as Environmental Expert.

But when I am trying to approach for good opportunity like TCE, Mumbai they asked me for NABET accreditation as an EIA coordinator. I got very much upset. I was trying to apply for the same through our firm but now there is stay on the scheme. hence no new applications will be sent.

That was main point behind my discussion. When this stay will take off or other scheme will come into operation?

Please tell us whether you have reliable information on the future of current NABET scheme. We are wasting a lot of time for this. It will be a great relief, if the current scheme will be replaced by a better evaluation system.
