I am student of IIT kharagpur, pursing my M.Tech. in Land and Water resources engineering. My research is working on the Environmental and Natural resources management by Remote sensing and GIS.

Dear Vijay you can try for the jobs in EIA EMP consultancy as well as hydrology related consultants  especially for hydro projects, they require GIS-RS experts for estimation of environmental flows, dam break analysis, catchment area demarcation, water availability etc.

I think if ur interested in job in research u must try for phD at FRI Dehradun. Also I think IIT KGP have a good campus, a lot of companies are coming u may try in them too..
