Depends on the chemical composition of the type of W.W. If its sewage then N,P,K is absorbed by the crop in good amts. however, if you are talking of Industrial W.W then the quantity of toxic chem. (if any) needs to be checked if can be taken up by the plant or not. Some color dyes can be taken up. Try searching for papers of IARI & NEERI scientists.
