Indian Student wins prestigious award

We thought you might like to know that one of our former MSc Formulation Science students, who is now doing a PhD at the University of Greenwich has recently won an award for his environmentally friendly chemical research. Articles are available at the Times of India and in Telugu at:

Shashi has been working on ways of maing drugs more effective and in particular has been using environmentally friendly ways of doing so - he uses carbon dioxide to process his drugs - thereby taking a deleterious waste compound and using it to his advantage.

I thought such innovative environmentally friendly processing might be of interest to this forum.
