which is the best and cost affective physiochemical treatment for pigment industry.Mainly Our wastewater contain acetic acid.Due to space constrain we are unable to run  secondary treatment.i want to solve my COD problem.My Inlet COD in the range of 5000-8000. and the CETP inlet norms is 2000.

Use PAC + poly electrolyte, which would reduce the COD level to some extent not that much, for that we need a aeration system with atleast 12 hours rentention time.

How much space you have? You can go for compact biological systems - MBBR+DAF. This will require very less space - 10-20% of space required for activated sludge process.

Sir  What is the appximate cost for this installation and maintenance ? and wastewater generation per day is 80 KL.
