Hi

There are many universities across US and Canada which are offering MS in Env Engg. But first you need to get GRE score and based on that universities can be selected?

Have you got GRE score?

Cheers,

Satya

i assume you have decided a rough course structure on your mind. Its better that you share that he you want better suggestions. If you haven't yet decided, that would be the first step.
Briefly, there are many types of programs in this field. Most cry typical extensions of the undergraduate program, consiting pollution control, treatment techniques etc. Some are science based, focussed on research. While some are inclined towards policy or public administration. There are many other programs focussing on some or the other environmental aspect like geotechnology etc.
University selection very much depends on that. You may visit usnews.com to start with the search.

Hope this helps. All the best.

Love goyal

What is it that you want to achieve from your MSc?  If you have a clear idea of the profession you want to move into that that should help you choose.  Have you looked at websites such as findamasters.com?

hope this helps - I run an MSc in Environmental Conservation so we work on the landscape management side rather than dealing with chemistry and the like

good luck!

hey,

You better go for more specific specialisation. If you from civil background then go Bioremediation/Wastewater stuff.

Thanks for the reply guys...
I am a graduate in chemical engineering with two years work ex in pollution abatement technologies and control techniques and work for the govt. I also have a year experience with designing software with a leading Software MNC.
I have not given GRE yet. I am targetting to take the test by year end.
What score should I target and what universities should I target keeping in mind my background and that I would like to do further studies in pollution control techniques only. I am fine with both the one year M.Eng course which is for professionals seeking further advancement in their careers as professionals and the 2 year M.S course which is research based and for those who want to pursue PhD...
