Paryavaran.com-Gateway to Indian Environment Market

Dear Sir / Madam,

Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) has set up new head office building at Gandhinagar & it will run on Solar Energy. An ideal example of “Zero Energy Building” (Detail information is mentioned below, cutting of The Times of India, 6th April, 2012)
GPCB would be the first 100 % solar building which will power for40 A/c's,600 fans & 1000 CFL tubelights. It will generate 116800 units /year,actual consumption will be 84000 units. The remaining units will go for the grid.

They are also going for the green plantation, proper landscaping & Water conservation system.Approximately 750 cubic meter of rain water is expected to be recharged into the underground aquifires every monsoon season.
Also NABL has certified GPCB as a National Laboratory reported by TOI.

As “Charity begins home”, GPCB has set up an example for all Industries and infracture projects to make almost use of Nature & it would be beneficial for the organization commercially also in long term

Don’t think that what one person or one organization can contribute?, but think that if you start others will follow.

So please take positive moral and do something to Save Mother Land.

Thanks Rajesh and my Friends,

I would also like to add few more silent features of GPCB:

This green building is also registered with IGBS. GPCB head offices as well as few regional offices are ISO 9001: 2007 and ISO 14001: 2004 QMS certified body. GPCB’s Central laboratory has got NABL accreditation.

GPCB was awarded A Special Recognition Award in Environment under the Best e-Governance Department Category by Computer Society of India at the CSI-Nihilent e-Governance Awards Ceremony at Mumbai on 26th Nov., 2010 and  also received Silver Medal in the 13th National e-Governance Conference for implementation of e-Governance in Re-Engineering of Business Processes Sector which was awarded by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Government of India.

On this auspicious inauguration time, I hope all my friends may like to bless the GPCB to step forward for Pollution free Gujarat. Few photographs of GPCB new Building:
