GPCB is using XGN software for biomedical waste module. You have to take your XGN id and password from GPCB regional office. Using online software, you can fill up data online, submit to GPCB by one click and also get print out of software generated annual report.

FORM 1 under BMW RUles is for application of authroisation, that required to obtain from state pollution Control Board.

FORM II id ANNUL REPORT, under BMW Rules, that is required to fill up and submit to State pollution Control Board on 31 JAn.every year.Please check, draft BMW Rules on MoEF site, it will get amneded from BMW RUles 98.THanks.

Bio Medical Authorisation to be secured under FORM -I prescribed by the MoEF / CPCB / respective state boards [ Soft Copy available in Ministry's website ] .

Annual returns on the complete log of waste generation / disposal to be filed as per the prescribed format to respective SPCB..

Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) is organizing a 3-day Continuing Professional Development Programme on “Bio Medical Waste Management - Handling and Safe Disposal Options with Reference to Draft Rules 2011” from 14 – 16 June, 2012 at ESCI Campus, Gachi Bowli, Hyderabad.

The objective of this programme is to familiarize participants on issues of Bio-medical waste such as quantification, segregation, scientific handling, treatment and disposal techniques which are techno-economically viable and in line with the current and proposed legal & statutory requirements.  The program focuses on the various provisions of new draft Bio Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011 and its implications on the health care and associated sectors.

Form-I for taking the authorisation.

Form-II for annual returns of previous year(Jan-Dec) before 31st January of the current year (i.e. Jan-Dec 2011 returns by 31st Jan 2012).

About Biomedical waste, as per biomedical waste management & handling Rules 2008, any hospital or medical who is generating biomedical waste need to have authorization from state pollution Control Board of respective states. Authorization can be obtained by submitting Form-I with a fee (depends upon bed no.s) with all details. Hospital must have deep burial, autoclaving, and incineration facility.
