The types of hazardous waste generated in service stations are: Paint Sludge, Oil Soaked Cotton, Filters, used Lead acid batteries.
Apart from this VOCs is one of the gaseous emissions which is hazardous

yes oil is main issue......at automobile service station, and the oil used in automobile sector(used in engine) are the category of hazardous waste. oil contains hydrocarbons.....
waste oil removed from the vehicles,oil soaked rags, grease and petroleum sludge are the common hazardous wastes generated from automobile service stations.ETP sludge is Hazardous waste.From the paint booth the paint flakes, paint and thinner containers, hydrocarbon residues and contaminated soil from the paint booth are the hazardous wastes
