Climate change is an impact to monitor & improve by action plans. If MoEF is taking initiative, it is too good because they have a lots of data & experience.

Climate change is a part and parcel of the environment.  There is no need to add climate change in the existing nomenclature. However, a separate division can be created under the ministry

good initiative but focus should be in R & D oriented then only beneficial to the younger generation Environmenatlists of India

Only nomenclature change can't do anything it needs policy implementation at the grassroot level and the change in the mind setup of our policy makers.

Ministry of Environment & Forests is a permanent entity Climate change is only a passing phase      of environmental climax.

Ministry of Environment and Forests still holds good and a separate wing exclusively to look after Climate change will be enough.
