Hello Dr. Jain
there was a comment on my pae regarding the study of air pollutants emitted from thermal power plants on crops. As in case of thermal plants, the major problem will be of particulates and associated problem of presence of heavy metals in particulates. in this respect, you can proceed with the bioaccumulation of heavy metals on plants. with the gaseous pollutants, exposure based fumigation study will work taking exposed as well as control environmental condition. however, the topic is very wide and also the interference of one pollutant to other made the study very complex. If you are certain about which pollutants do you want to study, lot of refernces are available. few study on power plant based crop exposure is available for Varanasi. Dr. Madhooloka and their coworkers have published work based on power plants emission impacts on plants. You can refer their methodology as well.
