Area of Expertize/ interest: Dr. Ghosh has found the way in the development of water and waste water industry through more than ten years of extensive and meticulous research, teaching, training and consultancy services in India and globally more than 40 countries. He has founded DGL as a unit of Genergy Biotech Pvt. Ltd. which was started in the year 2000 with the vision to emerge as a world leader in water, environment and biotechnology research at the interface of medicine and engineering. It was built on a strong foundation of basic applied sciences. He has pioneered the novel chlorine dioxide concept of an advanced disinfection technology and brought a change in the way how people disinfect and keep the environment safe. For the same, he has given technical and marketing support in more than 72 countries in all the continents.

He has carried out research projects with government and public organizations in the laboratory as well as on field. The interdisciplinary research activities have been started under the guidance of Dr. Ghosh, in collaboration with national and international links of renowned universities and research organizations

The Society of Earth Scientists (SES) is organizing a Multidisciplinary National Conference on “Science of Climate change and Earth’s Sustainability: Issues and Challenges” on scientists-people partnership basis at Lucknow from 12-14 Sept., 2011. The circular of the conference is attached for your information. You are invited to participate in the conference and present your research work on the related topic. We are expecting a good gathering of eminent scientists and leaders supporting the cause of the SES. Your presence and active participation will provide us strength and support. Limited travel grant may also be provided to non-funded participants depending upon quality of their work.

The abstract submission date is 30^th June’11.
