About me: I have worked in the area of Environment since 1978 having 32 years of experience in the area. My research is in Environmental Health and Toxicology. I worked in MoEF for 20 years and have handled varous areas such as Environmental Impact Assesment, Hazardous Chemicals, Hazardous and other waste managment, Biological Diversity etc. Environment is my passion and greening it is my mission. My hobbies include, reading, painting, music and dance. I love all kinds of sports and games and particiapte with all age groups and and Yoga is part of daily routine. To work I am dedicated and sincere giving my heart and soul into it. Being a workoholic I enjoy working and as a Virgo I want perfection in verything I do.

My Green Mission: To make India CLEAN and GREEN and inculcate the habit of nurturing environment and care for the natural wealth in the heart of every citizen of this country. I would like leave something green for the next generation to enjoy and feel good about it. Never throw anything if it can be of some use 3R Reduce, Reuse and Recycle so that nothing goes as waste into the environment.

The Society of Earth Scientists (SES) is organizing a Multidisciplinary National Conference on “Science of Climate change and Earth’s Sustainability: Issues and Challenges” on scientists-people partnership basis at Lucknow from 12-14 Sept., 2011. The circular of the conference is attached for your information. You are invited to participate in the conference and present your research work on the related topic. We are expecting a good gathering of eminent scientists and leaders supporting the cause of the SES. Your presence and active participation will provide us strength and support. Limited travel grant may also be provided to non-funded participants depending upon quality of their work.

The abstract submission date is 30^th June’11.
