About me: Dr. Chintan Pathak has completed his Ph. D. in the field of environmental sciences with the topic
entitled: “Synthesis of Fly Ash Zeolite for Oil Spill Clean-up”, from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum
University. The current area of his research is “Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood
Improvement” at Gir National Park and Sanctuary. The basic approach in his research work is
oriented towards wildlife ecology and challenges of environmental issues. His area of interest
includes natural resources management, ecosystem services, meteorology & climate change,
pollution control technology for oil spills etc. Some of the research articles of Dr. Pathak have
been well cited by researchers. Some research results, particularly in the area of pollution control
are now being used by industry as well. Dr. Pathak has published and presented 25 research
papers in National/International journals and conferences. He is having vast experience in
teaching environmental science, nature education, biodiversity conservation, wildlife ecology,
consultancy in field of environment particularly cost effective treatment technology for pollution
control.

My Green Mission: I am committed individual, focuses on conservation and environmental sensitization to ensure that the regions’ natural eco-system and diverse flora and fauna to be preserved and inspiring people to value Nature. I believe: “Nature is not a place to visit. It is home”. My futuristic vision is to make a strong contribution in line with organizational goals through continued development of professional skills, thereby providing a sustainable environment to the mankind and grow into a dedicated environmentalist to our mother earth.
