Book release by KSPCB

Dear All :

I would like to share with you a momentous event of great significance to us, commemorating Ecotech's 25 years of service in the protection of environment across India, Karnataka in particular.

Have written a book for a good social cause. This Guidebook was specially commissioned for release on the occasion of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Foundation day for the benefit of a new class of citizenry living in High Rise Apartment Complexes. It is meant to demystify the workings of a Sewage Treatment Plant and empower the communities with sufficient knowledge that they may be encouraged to take ownership of their STP’s with full confidence. They may then take pride in having converted an STP into a productive unit, thereby also contributing their mite to preserving the Environment.

The book is published by the KSPCB and was released on their Foundation day on Sept. 21, 2011. The Hon. Minister for Home & Transport Sri. R. Ashoka did the honours in the presence of other dignitaries including among others Sri. Krishna Palemar - Hon. Minister for Environment & Ecology. Kindly ignore the bumbling dolt traipsing across in the foreground.

The STP ( Sewage Treatment Plant) Guide book, published by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has been uploaded on the KSPCB website on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava Day on Nov. 01, 2011, in the interest of general public.
