Profile Information

About me: I was Professor of Environmental Science and Policy, and Director of the Institute for the Environment, for 25 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2008, I migrated to the UK and became Director of the University of Cambridge Centre for Climate Change Mitigation Research. I am now retired and spending my time in public education and sustainable project development.

My Green Mission: I focus primarily on collective action problems where many different organisations have a stake in, and can contribute to, sustainability solutions. The projects and training I conduct are across the spectrum of environmental, sustainability, energy and economic issues.
