Promotion of eco-friendly products

We are planning to initiate a program to produce different recyclable materials from the plastics, generated from the households daily in a huge number. It aims at reducing the problems several communities are facing due to the waste, by managing the plastic to produce the attractive goods, at the time providing employment to the housewives in preparing the goods from plastics.

For this the plastic needs to be stretched into a small rope like shape. Upon our observation its so time consuming and it created wounds inn womens fingers upon stretching it manually, therefore the production cost of a good is high. To make the production cost low so that the goods can be marketable, we are searching for the alternatives, wither a low cost machine or other relevant ideas.

Therefore, i would like to request you to suggest me some ideas in this regard,as people nowadays have made their concerns in promoting recycled goods.

I hope there are already some traditional equipments which are being used in villages for the said purpose and Centre for Environmental Education are haveing a seperate recycling/waste management section and i hope they have some advanced and cost effective techniques for recycling plastic.

The idea is very nice...but what about the product waste after it finishes the value..again it will provide the waste and plastic pollution....one thing we need to think that how we can reduce the use of Plastic so that that the waste generation will be less with this we need to look for the option for plastic because now a days plastic took a prompt place in individuals life..as it plastic is compulsory in some needs.

Your concern is very relevant. Children are most sensitive to indoor air quality, to which they are exposed. They spend considerable part of the day in school and then in the house. Is the indoor air quality in our class rooms acceptable? Providing healthy class room should be a  priority for the child's health.

I admit that majority of the school buildings in villages are no better than huts. Many schools do not have even toilets! I wish if all the wealth amassed by our politician thugs and pindaras were spent on our schools!
