In which subject you wish to persue...?

There are many options..... even if the university & supervisor along with your employer permits then the present work could be taken as the research aspects.....

Mr. Satya is right target the private Universities where the rules and regulations are more flexible.

Hello, I would like to suggest to go for Ph.D on part time basis from any near by university. It will do good for your career. I want to advise this because, the requirement outside is good, but I suggest you to not to leave the job, which is a smart thing. If you want to work/ become researcher outside the country, then Ph.D would a better option. I do not think Indian universities are offering Ph.D without experience. Anyway, i wish you all the best for your career. But do not forget to get that through Part-time basis. Job and studies gives a better vision of the future. Bye and all the best.

Maniprakash, M.Sc (Ph.D), Vice Principal, Aditya Degree College, kakinada,Andhra Pradesh

plesae go through the website of ISM Dhanbaad.

If you are serious about the subject, go for full time research. If you want an ornamental PhD, get it by paying an amount to any of the degree selling university. This is enough for getting nominated to governmental positions.

 Hi Richa

I am Dr Lakshmi Raghupathy and have been guide for two candidates from Jiwaji University Gwalior for their PhD. It was distance learning as they were not in Gwalior. It would be a pleasure for me to take you as a candidate.I have worked in Waste Managment for the last 3 decades. After retiring from MoEF I still continue to work in the area of Waste Managment. RAMKY people know me very well.

Dear Richa,

There are so many institutes who offers Phd in distance learning mode but in your organization you should have the research facility. So that you can do your research in your parent organization. You can apply in VIT, Vellore as well n now a days applications are invited as well. It is one the finest college in south India and will not create so many problems as well.

Thanks

Piyush

Hi Richa,

You have just completed your M.Sc.

In my opinion, If you want to really do good Research then you should qualify NET/JRF then you will definitely get best opportunity to do Research in CSIR labs in India and if you need only Degree of Ph.D. then concentrate on your work in RAMKY and contact any Private University.

Further you can contact School of Energy and Environmental Studies, Devi Ahilya University, Indore for better guidance. There you can contact Pror. S.P. Singh (Head), Prof. R.N. Singh or Dr. Rubina Chaudhary for your future career. They all are best in their field and are renown personalities in field of Environment.

All the best for your future and career.

There is no such concept as part time PhD. It is the adjustment done on personal basis between the guide and the student. One year course work is now compulsory. UGC does not recognize such part time PhD admitted after 1st June 2009. Plz go through the July 2009 Gazette of India, minimum standard & procedure for MPhil/PhD circular/guidelines by the UGC and the same criteria for the NET qualified candidate also applies. Plz do not get misguided and I also request my peers too, for maintaining the standards of PhD, plz deter the such part time concept as far as possible. Only on exceptional and outstanding cases such personal adjustment may be allowed.

Dear Richa, for a quality PhD work, I appeal to u do a regular PhD. It will pay back u in ur career, much better than shortcuts. Some Universities do bend the rules, but its up to the students to decide.

Plz go through these links:

For the MPhil/PhD guidelines found on any standard university website
