Import Requirement under HW Rules

Hello

Can anyone clarify the import requirement under HW Rules as they apply to used equipment? Under what conditions can such import be allowed?

What kind of Equipment it is?

It depends upon the Equipment you want to import.

If used equipment is machinery, HW Rules will not apply to it. The equipment contains a material that is hazardous in nature, then action is necessary according to prescribed procedure, for which either read the HW Rules or contact the concerned State Pollution Control Board from which an authorisation has to be obtained  --   Paritosh Tyagi
