About me

I am M.Sc.in Zoology (Fisheries spl). Did Ph.D. from Kalyani Univ, West Bengal in 1979; and then joined in National Env Eng Res Institute, Nagpur in 1979. Served NEERI at various capacities for 32 years, and retired as Chief Scientist (G) & Head, Applied Ecology Division in Aug 2011. In NEERI, conducted various Govt and Private sponsored projects. I was the 1st Indian to study Env audit of Indian permanent station Maitri in Antarctica during 1993-94. Also contributed as Leader / member of various projects, directed by Hon'ble Supreme / High courts for judgments. Since Sept 2011 worked as VP in Ultra Tech Env Consult & Lab, Thane / Pune; and contributed in many prestigious projects. Subsequently from Jan 2018 I am consultant in the same Organisation.

My Green Mission

Considering vast experience in Environmental field, specially on Ecology & Biodiversity during academic (Ph.D.) and professional career since 1974 to till date, I desire to contribute in prestigious projects of national importance. Also, I would like to share the experience with younger generation and develop human resources. I am physically fit to move in remote areas too.
