About me

I did my Masters in Ecology from AUS. I completed my Ph.D. from the dept of Ecology and Environmental Science, AUS. I have five years’ experience of handling national level projects and programmes in northeast India. I am coordinating and conducting training, workshop, exposure visit and research work related to afforestation, livelihood generation, community development, eco-tourism and sustainable development. I worked on technological intervention and skill development of village communities and frontline forest staff for enhancing livelihood generation from Non Timber Forest Produce. I also have experience of Monitoring and Evaluation of several national and state level programmes and schemes of Government of India as well as of various state government. I was actively involved in disseminating concept of convergence of schemes and programmes of various line department dealing with afforestation and community development activities.
