About me

I am Appala Reddy from North East Andhra Pradesh. I am a facilitator for events, corporate meetings or conferences. I was graduated in English Literature from Periyar University, Tamilnadu.

I have three siblings – two brothers and one sister. My father worked as a porter in Food Corporation of India, Visakhapatnam. My mother was a homemaker.

I had been working for an NGO for almost 10 years before I choose to be a teacher in 2008 and worked for two schools till 2015. Of course, very young children were my students. They grew up now. During the summer of 2011, I established an organization titled ‘India Youth For Society.’ This organization aims and works for clean environment, road safety measures, discarded plastics. I started a campaign with a short-form P4 (Prevent Polythene – Protect Planet). As a part of this, we used to resell cloth, jute & paper bags. Lately, I felt it could a business. I am going to start a manufacturing unit.

My long term work for community development gave me much satisfaction. At the same I worked for several social causes. The outcome from the entire work is good.

Contribution for Road Safety / Public Safety
I have made a survey format on “Pedestrians' Safety on National Highways.” It was submitted to the officials for necessary action. Similar work has been done in case of Vehicular Horns.
