there are several ways of classifying disasters, based on hazards - origin, based on onset, based on effects, so on. Teacher shall tell the listing of disasters, ways of classification, examples, and bit more on disasters which are relevant to that geographical area, ecological settings and socio-cultural perspective. You can have a look over the syllabus, it will help you.
