DESCRIPTION:Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) is pleased to inv
 ite you to a three-day training programme on ‘Corporate Social Respo
 nsibility—Planning and Implementation’, to be held on 21–23 Jun
 e 2017.\nCSE recognizes CSR as a key component of inclusive and respon
 sible business. In view of CSR (addressing and reporting) becoming man
 datory as per the Amendment of the Companies Act in 2013, it is desira
 ble for all stakeholders to formulate a CSR policy, and implement and 
 monitor its effectiveness. This training programme is designed based o
 n the provisions of the Act and Rules. It aims to give practical expos
 ure on CSR to the participants, with specific references to the regula
 tory framework and process to formulate a CSR policy—need-based asse
 ssment, stakeholder engagement, methodologies for implementation, perf
 ormance evaluation and statutory reporting.\nWe hope you can nominate
