Ozonefest 2012

“Ozone Fest” is an Inter-collegiate event organized by the Department of Environmental Science each year with a view to bringing about environmental awareness; bring out creative ideas from youth of Mumbai region and their integration in active resource conservation ideas. The students benefit immensely from this endeavor every year. The Environmental Sciences Department of The Institute Of Science is the PIONEER of organizing Environmental Fest.  The Environmental theme for the year 2012 is “Sustainable Energy and Development”, which we have incorporated as the theme for Ozone Fest 2012. We aim to provoke progressive thought and modern ideas among the youth, regarding sustainable development.

This year Ozone Fest is scheduled to be held on Friday, the 14^th of September and Saturday, the 15^th September 2012.  It comprises various events such as Quiz, Photography, Eco Jingles, Movie making, Ozone Fest summit, Treasure Hunt, Debate and many other competitions for undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline.

More than 450 students from various colleges in and around Mumbai participated in Ozone Fest 2011 and we expect many more participants this year.

            We would like to invite your organization to participate in this event by sponsoring Ozone Fest 2012.  Besides/along with cash sponsorships, we would also appreciate sponsorship in terms of gift hampers/coupons/trophies and such. We request you to help us in achieving major goals of our fest; that is to bring all the bright minds in the city under one canvas and enlighten them to work in the field of sustainable ideas.
