National Training Programme on Legal Framework for Disaster Risk Management (Sp. Ref. Environmental Legislation & Policies role in DRR)

National Institute of Disaster Management (Govt. of India), New Delhi, is organizing a 3 days National training programme on “LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR DISASTER MANAGEMENT” during 10-12 December 2014 at NIDM, New Delhi. The course will have special focus on role of environmental law & policies in DRR in India. A certificate will be provided to the participant on completion, and the course has no registration fee. Accommodation can be arranged for participants (faculty members, scientists, officials, professionals, etc.) nominated by Central/ State Government Department/ institute /agency/ organization on request basis. However, food and other training related arrangements shall be made by NIDM without any fees for all the participants. 

Aim of the training programme is to enhance participants capacity on existing legal framework for disaster management with focus on within the constitution and environmental and natural resource related legislation.
