CDEM Module III - Water Management at Local Level

Water Resource Management is a very important issue with regard to its conservation and protection. This module will focus on the activity of planning, developing, and distributing and managing the optimum use of water resources. Participants will gain insights into the economics of drinking water quality, water management, water supply & distribution including rainwater harvesting as well as the cause and preventive measures of water pollution and water treatment technologies including CETP/STP.

Objectives

• To Sensitize  and educate learners on augmentation and utilization of water resources
• To develop deeper understanding amongst the participants on efficient management of water resources
• To learn about the water conservation and rainwater harvesting methods
• To know the water resource issues assessment & Water resource policy/strategy.
