SUMMARY:Brainstorming Workshop on “Integrated Domestic Water Managem
 ent in the arid and semi arid regions of India”
DESCRIPTION:Development Alternatives (DA) is a research organization a
 nd it has a focus on innovation and policy outreach. DA is engaged in 
 a research study sponsored by India Water Partnership (IWP) - “Knowl
 edge Dialogue on Integrated Domestic Water Management-Preparation of C
 ompendium and Status paper”. The overall objective of this study is 
 to influence National Water Policy which governs the management of wat
 er resources in India with a view to incorporate aspects of Integrated
  Domestic Water Management (IDWM) in the semi arid and arid regions of
  India.\n\nThe project involves a stakeholder’s workshop to act as a
  platform for knowledge sharing on the experiences and analysis with a
  peer group of experts as well as stakeholders from the arid and semi 
 arid region. This workshop will provide a forum to bring forth varied 
 perspectives to the existing situations with regard to IDWM. This will
  help in brainstorming as well as identifying a direction for policy a
 nd institutional support leading towards revision and modification of 
 analytical framework, the indicators of the study and identification o
 f case studies.\n\nYou are cordially invited to participate in a one d
