The documentary is based on the story of the Joint Forest Management Committees under the Rupnarayan Forest Development Agency in the terror stricken areas of Jungle-Mahal, West Midnapore. The committees successfully enabled the forest protection and preservation at the very grass root level with the co-operation of the local people. The approach is a boon in case of dealing with the regional problems like elephant depredation and extremist activities. The documentary was screened in the Short & Documentary Film Section of 19th Kolkata International Film Festival. [English. 10 mints. Produced by National Afforestation & Eco-Development Board, Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India in cooperation with Forest Department, Govt. of West Bengal]
