Noise Pollution - Emergency DG Sets at Sector-18, NOIDA
Video created on 4th June 2011 at 8pm at Near Mobile Shops at Sector-18 Metro Station, NOIDA. A rows of DG Sets are being operated during the power failure at the heart of the cities commercial centre in NOIDA. The noise generated by DG Set is untolerable. The authorities are lax to take the proactive action by them self in spite of the fact there are laws for it.

Some one woke up.........Taking serious note of noise and air pollution in Noida, the National Green Tribunalon Thursday ordered industries to phase out old diesel-run generators that do not have proper acoustic enclosures within two weeks.
