Summer Training Program for Students pursuing Master degree in Environmental Science/ Bio-Sciences/ Geography/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Agricultural Sciences/ Computer Sciences/ Information Technology or B.Tech. in Computer Science/ I.T./ C.S.E./ Civil Engineering. 40 Course Fee: Course Fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid in cash or through demand draft in favour of Chief Scientist, HARSAC after the confirmation of admission by HARSAC.

Applications are invited for 6 weeks Summer Training Program on “Remote Sensing and GIS” for P.G. students at Haryana Space Applications Centre (HARSAC), Hisar. The application form downloadable from HARSAC website (www.harsac.org) to be forwarded by concerned Principal/ Head of Department should reach Chief Scientist, HARSAC, CCS HAU Campus, Hisar 125004 on or before May 31, 2012 by hand or by Fax (01662-225958) or scanned copy of form by mail to vsarya@harsac.org .

  1. Eligibility: Students pursuing Master degree in Environmental Science/ Bio-Sciences/ Geography/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Agricultural Sciences/ Computer Sciences/Information Technology or B.Tech. in Computer Science/ I.T./ C.S.E./ Civil Engineering.
  2. Course Fee: Course Fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid in cash or through demand draft in favour of Chief Scientist, HARSAC after the confirmation of admission by HARSAC.
  1. Duration of Course:  11.06.2012 – 20.07.2012 (6weeks).
  2. Number of seats:      Forty (40).
    1. Selection procedure: Based purely on merit of the marks obtained in B.A./B.Sc./B.Tech. for P.G. or 10+2 for B.Tech. students.
  3. Reservation of seats: The reservation of seats for SC/ BC would be as per Haryana Government rules. If the SC/ BC seats remain vacant, these will be filled from general category.
  4. Selection and deposit of fee: The selected candidates of the first merit list to be displayed on 01.06.2012 will be required to deposit the admission fee latest by 05.06.2012. Second merit list will be displayed on 06.06.2011 and the selected candidates will be required to deposit the admission fee latest by 08.06.2011.
  5. If the numbers of applications received are less than twenty, HARSAC may cancel the training program.

 

 

  1. HARSAC will not provide any accommodation and the candidates have to make their own arrangements during the training period.
  2. Selected candidates are required to report for registration at HARSAC on 11.06.2012 at 9.00 AM positively.
  3. Preference will be given to Post Graduate student. However, B.Tech. students in  computer science, I.T., CSE or Civil Engineering may also be considered if seats remain vacant.

Note: Candidate may deposit their fee on 04.06.2012 also between 9.00AM to 01.00 PM, despite it being a holiday.

                      Thanks for sharing this information , Can you please tell me more information regarding this  training course , I mean when this training will began . I have completed my MSc in Environmental Monitoring ,Modelling and Reconstruction , Can i apply for this .
