Dear Rajesh K Desai Ji,

The B2 category projects not required EIA report & no public consultation that's the benefit. These projects are appraised on the basis of Form-I and Pre Feasibility Report.

BUT see the Point no. 4 at page 4 of the office memorandum attached herewith.

Regards,

Shiv

Dear All,

Kindly share NGT Judgement regarding EC for STP.Is it possible to mix STP effluent to ETP-primary clarifier so that further treatment can be done t reduce cost savings on construction of new STP seperately. I have conducted the trial successfully. I want to understand legal side of this mixing STP+ETP Effluents. Moreover,I think SPCBS want Zero Discharge, you do whatever in your system.Pl.give your valuable comments.

Regards,

Manoj Vyavahare

It only took 7 yearss for them to decide on this!

Thanks. But this doesn't mention about the Sewage treatment plants. There is recent judgement by NGT that all STPs require EC ( under item 7 either CETPs or CMSWMF). this verdict was delivered for an objection on the location of STP in Haryana, in September, 2013. Further action is not clear.
