Change is always for good here we can see the changing ecological problem create an extra pressure on the environmentalist ,so change according issue is a eco-friendly.

More the merrier. And for better clarity and focus we probably need to add every division in 'nomenclature' such as Environment Impact Assessment, National River Conservation Directorate, and more till the acronym stands as MoEFCCEIANRCD and so on. It is all very important, you see, and in case we do not place it in the nomenclature we will not be able to award it its 'due' importance. Since we are all educationally-challenged we didn't really know that CC is very much part of environment.

It is sad that when we need to talk about environment in totality - where not even forests should feature, we continue to beat around the bush.

And, I wonder what would happen to all the CC division is other scientific ministries.

I am totally disagree with it. The term environment itseld includes Climate Change. So it is understood that MoEF itself responsible for climate change mitigation and adaptation. Next time if some problem will come then next time then it will also be change. Is it not so???? So in my personal opinion, the name MoEF is as such ok and self sufficient to solution of problems related to environment.

We can't overlook the problems of our nations related to Green Issues. Although in past years no one political team has given so much atention on these Buzz Words, however; the only buzz words or jargons will not impact. In India still Environment is on paper and when we will realise its value, a BIG QUESTION ? Hope for new Government, which was always blamed for fonding of Business Growth.

Climate Change is a buzz word which sells today till a next one comes.

The Ministry of Environment & Forests is a stable system and needs to

encourage Sustainable growth and Development with long term goals.

Its a great step to work towards Climate Change. Hopefully there are more serious implementing projects and Researches undertaken in this division.

Climate change was already a part of Ministry's agenda. Revised nomenclature may enhance the focus with additional mandate under this area. Dr. R. Dalwani.
