Is any report available on the impact of sea disposal of sewage from STPs in and around Mumbai?
NEERI also has carried out an EIA on this. Can anyone help?

A red dot representing a Dead Zone, appears off coast of Mumbai for the first time in 2009.
There was no Dead Zone before this.
Please note the numerous, 500+, dead zones off the cost of most of the 'Developed' countries.
India too is becoming developed.
