Is any report available on the impact of sea disposal of sewage from STPs in and around Mumbai?

NEERI also has carried out an EIA on this. Can anyone help?

Please see this report on Dead Zones by VIMS, USA.

http://www.vims.edu/newsandevents/topstories/2008-dead-zones-spread...

A red dot representing a Dead Zone, appears off coast of Mumbai for the first time in 2009.

There was no Dead Zone before this.

Please note the numerous, 500+, dead zones off the cost of most of the 'Developed' countries.

India too is becoming developed.
