Ground water level monitoring

As per CGWA conditions peizometer to be installed at borewell to monitor the ground water level in the area. Can anyone tell me details about this or anyother simple technique to monitor the ground water level.

sir,
U can put simple water level indicator or measurementy tape in monitoring well/ observation well on permanent basis and maintained logbook, and data may send on six month interval to board.
