Dear all, I want to make focus of all members on the water related problems mainly suffered by an farmer, I had an talk to many NGO working for the farmers but none of them work related solving water problem of farmers specially in Osmanabad Chorakhali village. Please share if any thing that can help farmers to solve the water problems.

Thank You, but my main focus is on how can an farmer manage the problem related water, if one of the farmer is dependent of rain water & if there is no other source like bore, well or canal water then, what should be the famers role, everyday there is an news of suicide committed by an farmer, because he is not able to do farming, not able to clear the laon. Sorry but feel like one day all farmers will sale there land to builders or politicians everywhere we will see only buildings, complexes or industries, no farming will be left.
I personally feel we everyone should contribute in solving the problem related to farmer & stop the suicide committed by an farmer.
Crop diversification with low water requiring crops like pulses & millets, intercropping, vegetative mulching, insitu water conservation etc. are some of the measures to solve the water problems in drought prone areas. Besides System of rice intensification is found to be an effective technology for maximising water use efficiency.
