Dear Friends,
We are planning to take up in the next academic year an “Environment Awareness Program” for schools (ISCE & SSLC) in and around Bangalore. I would need your help if you could point me to a readymade curriculum that can be used. In case you know of anyone please do let me know. Much appreciated. DP Daniel

Dear Sir,
Environmental Science is a very vast field. Please share on the time you have allotted for the program. Basic would be on biosphere, natural resources, pollution and conservation.
Thanks and Regards,
Dr.D.Siddaramu
Environment awareness programme covers many thing. My organisation has conducted several awareness programes in high schools. We prepared several modules on:
1. Water, water resource monitoring, conservation and monitoring.
2. Land resource
3. Land forms, rocks and minerals, Anthropogenic activities on Earth
4. Weather: weather station, weather data collection, climate change
5. Air: quality monitoring
6. Biodiversity
7. Environmental mapping
I feel that all environmental awareness programme should start with earth science awareness, covering, land and geology, water, soil, weather and mapping. Biodiversity and pollution should come in the 2nd stage.
I would like to know what is in your mind in particular.
