Paryavaran.com-Gateway to Indian Environment Market
World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June as the United Nations (UN) has declared this day for the global awareness towards environmental conservation and protection. Same in India the Indian Central and State Govt. also do observe this day for its importance and for mass awareness every year. "Environmental Science" is made as compulsory subject for education in every school and college level which is as per the verdicts of honorable Supreme Court of India, along with that it also notified that, every college must should have qualified degree holder in "Environmental Science" subject as Teacher/Lecturer/Assistant Professor for teaching this subject moreover,it is also mandatory as per guideline of environmental issues regulation concern that, every Industrial units/Organisations must should have at-least one qualified Environmental Degree holder as "Environmental Expert" for the environmental issues concern. This is also a irony, the subject which is marked as "compulsory" and generally said as very important subject for environmental conservation, protection and sustainable development of the Nation/Country but, having no scope in terms of job. So if no proper value of its subject degree holders then how the importance of this subject area will come in reality. So in this regard we have a humble request to all the degree holders of this subject, Environmental professionals, Experts, Nature lovers, and Environmentalist, Students,Researchers, activists, please kindly Boycott the "World Environment Day 2016" celebration this year because only celebration will not give the proper solution for environmental protection and conservation but need to give proper recognition of its subject degree holders/Professionals of the country. Thus we request please don't take part in any such activity on the 5th June in where in country. Your active support will give a strong message to administration and policy makers regarding this important issue. Hope all will support this cause.

Thank You All.

Dear Sir, and All yes we do respect and care for mother earth and will do so but this is not a political issue or personal just think about lakhs of environmental degree holders of country and their family dependent how they can survive after having such important subject having no job option or growth in country. So this is not a personal or political issue and yes if the subject is important then its degree holders are to important, more over only by celebration of WED the environment can conserved ?
This is a symbolic protest only so that, massage should reach to policy makers and administrations regarding this issue. Dear Sir you know thousands of degree holders in country are facing this problem after having such high qualification so it is also important to think about them and their family dependents as they are also part of environmental subject concern. Hope now you are clear about this issue. Thanks and Regards We need support from all
For me each day is an environment Day and WED is a day to reassert this commitment which I have been doing for so long and shall continue to do so. My humble appeal to you is not to politicate the day with your personal issue or for that matter the issue of students of environmental science or engineering. Your concern for the job is alright but my commitment is dearer to me.sorry sir, No way.
